Wine Review: This pale straw colored Godello from Spain is very good! It opens with a quince and lime zest bouquet with hints of crushed seashells. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, and lush. The flavor profile is a tasty lemon verbena and lime zest blend with notes of saline, yellow grapefruit, and ginger. I also detected hints of white peach and quince in the aftertaste. The wine’s flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time on the finish. I would pair this Godello with Steve’s shrimp, chicken, and chorizo paella. Enjoy - Ken
