Wine Review: This dark red colored Mencia opens with a black licorice and faint black cherry bouquet with a hint of violet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is a pomegranate, oak and stony minerality blend with notes of black plum and black cherry. I also detected a hint of black licorice nips in the after taste. The finish is dry and its flavors and mild tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this Mencia with a lamb burger. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A fresh and floral Mencia, full of aromas of blue flowers, red and blueberries and some lemon. Elegant and lively with a light to medium body. Silky and fresh.
