Wine Review: This very approachable California red blend is a brilliant dark cherry color, with fragrant aromas of red cherry compote, maple, cedar, chocolate, mint, and forest floor. Very smooth and supple mouthfeel on the palate, it has moderate acidity, a medium body, and generous rich fruit. I found red cherry and blueberry flavors along with some chocolate, tobacco, allspice, and cedar. Integrated tannins and a moderate length finish. Very food friendly, it's a great weeknight cheeseburger wine. - Mark

Winemaker Notes: Aromas of cherry preserves, dark chocolate and cola with spicy notes of licorice, cardamom, cracked pepper and sandalwood. The bright and vibrant entry accentuates flavors of Bing cherry, fresh blueberries and allspice that linger into a creamy, rich mid-palate and ends with a luxurious finish. Pair with grilled foods, such as saucy baby back ribs, grilled vegetables, or a juicy burger with cheddar.
