Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend from down under opens with a mild black currant and boysenberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft and approachable. The flavor profile is a very gentle black currant with notes of black raspberry and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and it has pleasant tannins. This wine would pair nicely with a big and juicy Angus burger. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright red in colour, Grenache once again provides an intense lift with touches of dark cherry, minerals, and spice. The Shiraz component provides structure to the wine and tightens the lifted notes of the Grenache. It is a pure expression of fruit, displaying the attributes of a vibrant blend with plenty of character. This leads to concentrated ripe cherry and blackberry fruits. The tannins are soft and supple yet giving a long, lingering finish.
