Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Riesling from Ravines opens with mild honey bouquet with hints of lemon, melon, and apricot. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and zesty. The flavor profile is a blend of mild honey, white pepper, and white peach with notes of crushed stone and nectarine. We also detected some hints of ginger, and lime. The finish is dry, and its flavors linger nicely. The Tasting Panel would serve this dry Riesling with a crab cocktail or steamed clams.
