Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Franc from the Finger Lakes opens with a mild red plum and red currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and bright. The flavor profile is a tart red plum and crushed stone blend with a hint of raspberry. The finish is dry and its bold and dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. This Cab Franc benefits from some decanting as it smooths out nicely with some air. I would pair this wine with a juicy Angus bacon burger. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Vibrant violet in color with a magnificent bouquet of black cherry, mountain herbs, raspberry compote, and hints of cedar. The magnificent 2020 vintage in the Finger Lakes allowed for a ripe fruit set, moderately high acidity, and integrated, fine tannins. The wine is long, juicy, and seductive on the palate with a signature spice.
