Wine Review: This pale-yellow gold colored white blend Ravines is a good value. It opens with a fragrant bouquet of white peach, lime, green apple with hints of grapefruit, lychee, wet gravel and rose petals. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied, balanced, round and has a nice mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a mild lychee, chalky minerality, green tea, and lime blend. We also detected hints of white peach and lemon verbena mixed in. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine is food friendly. We would pair it with spicy Thai noodles with a peanut sauce or quiche. Enjoy - Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: After the success of the inaugural vintage, the Field Notes Blanc is back! A blend of Gewurztraminer, Valvin Muscat and Riesling, this fresh, crisp, summer white is juicy with lively acidity and a dry finish. The Gewurztraminer and Valvin Muscat provide an array of aromatics, while the Riesling completes the fresh and lingering finish.
