Wine Review: This deep violet colored Zinfandel from the Dry Creek Valley opens with a fragrant blackberry bouquet with hints of boysenberry and vanilla-cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle blackberry and black cherry blend with notes of mild minerality and oak. We also detected hints of plum, coffee and black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite a while. The panel suggested pairing this Zin with barbecue ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2013 Teldeschi Vineyard Zinfandel is the quintessential Dry Creek Valley Zin: inky black color, aromas of blue fruits, blackberry, licorice, dark chocolate, and black pepper. The weight and structure are nothing short of extraordinary. The finish is lengthy and enjoyable.
