Wine Review: This ruby colored wine opens with a mild pomegranate and gentle red raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a sour black cherry with notes of prune. I also detected hints of black plum and malt towards the end. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and moderate tannins linger for a bit. This Zin would pair well with food. I would pair it with a meat lasagna. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2012 Dickerson is a brilliant example of Napa Valley Zinfandel with bright acidity and ripe, red fruit. Good weight and a nice mouthfeel set the stage for a fruity, lingering finish.
