Wine Review: This slightly opaque and very very dark purple colored blend opens with a pleasant blueberry bouquet with hints of clove and vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well balanced, super smooth, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a very tasty gentle blackberry with notes of blueberry. There is also a touch of oak and plum. The finish is dry and its building tannins stick around for a bit. This wine would pair well with filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Very Dark, very dense. Blackberries and other black fruit aromas mingle with interesting and complicated scents of violets, forest floor and aromatic spices. The 08 ICON is big and suave on the palate. It is full of ripe dark fruit flavors, harmonious oak notes, and a long, rich finish with perfect acidity that adds lift and punch. This is a youthful muscular wine.
