Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Ramey is impressive and was very well liked by all that tried it. It opens with an oak and lemon bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and graceful. The flavor profile is mild mineral influenced lemon with notes of quince and nicely integrated oak. I also detected hints of almond and white pepper. The finish is dry and it softly fades away. This Chard is very food friendly and would pair well with seafood. I would pair with Imperial crab stuffed baked halibut. Enjoy – Ken
