Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from the Napa Valley opens with black cherry and red currant bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, juicy and shows some up-front fruit. The flavor profile is a ripe black cherry and mulberry blend with nicely integrated minerality. There are also notes of cinnamon throughout, along with hints of oak and blueberry in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around for quite some time. This Cab would be a perfectly paired with a New York strip steak with garlic smashed potatoes. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our tenth vintage of this appellation Cabernet is blended from a combination of hillside and valley floor vineyards. Our style combines the harmony produced by traditional Bordelaise winemaking techniques with the voluptuousness gained from California’s weather, especially in this perfect vintage. – David Ramey
