Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Ramey opens with a raspberry and chocolate bouquet with hints of eucalyptus, coconut and mint. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, super balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a cassis and red raspberry blend with notes of mild cedar and Michigan dried cherries. The finish is dry and its fine tannins sail along nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this tasty Cab with a veal marsala with sauteed mushrooms or a filet mignon with hollandaise sauce. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The ninth vintage of this blend–it represents our version of a "winemaker's wine." Annum is the one red wine we make each year that allows us to select from a range of prestigious vineyards to make the best blend possible that vintage.
