Wine Review: This pitch black colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a mild black currant bouquet with hints of blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a unique blend of oak, black currant, cocoa and nicely integrated minerality. I also detected a hint of tart black cherry in the background. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this very unique and nice Cab with a filet mignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The eighth vintage of this blend–it represents our version of a "winemaker's wine." Annum is the one red wine we make each year that allows us to select from a range of prestigious vineyards to make the best blend possible that vintage.
