Wine Review: This deep yellow colored Chardonnay from Raen opens with a mild golden delicious apple bouquet with hints of nutmeg, oak, and lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, lush, silky, and elegant. The flavor profile is a very tasty a spiced Bosc pear and chalky minerality blend with notes of gentle oak and mild pineapple. We also detected hints of pastry crust, lemon verbena, and lime. The finish is dry and a its flavors drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with seared sea scallops. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Lady Marjorie is a wine of finesse, elegance, and verve. Crushed wet gravel, stone fruits of ripe white peach and crunchy nectarine give way to delicate notes of honeysuckle, apricot, and citrus pith. On the palate, crushed wet rock persists with summer ripe stone fruits and white flowers transporting us back to the cool coastline where these vines grow. Subtle notes of this beautiful coastline linger with faint hints of fruit, flower, and minerality leading to a seamlessly long finish.
