Wine Review: This almost clear colored Chenin Blanc opens with a mild lime and Anjou pear bouquet with hints of ginger. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with the integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, clean, and bright. The flavor profile is a stony minerality and tart lime with notes of saline and green apple. I also detected hints of lemon verbena. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Chenin Blanc is very versatile and food friendly. I would pair it with linguini with a garlic white wine and clam sauce. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Original Chenin is crafted without the use of any oak in order to preserve the wine's "original," vibrant fresh fruit character. Now in its 19th year of production, it boasts an unquestionable consistency in quality and style. The wine has a distinctive yellow apple, kiwi fruit and pineapple core, alongside notes of green melon and limes. The wine is thus bursting with fresh fruit flavors. The wine has a zesty citrus flavor linger on the palate, with a long mineral finish.
