Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Barbera opens with an intense blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, extracted, juicy, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a savory and tasty spicy plum and ripe boysenberry with notes of licorice and blackberry. There were also some gentle old oak notes towards the back palate. As you can see, it was a pretty complex Barbera. The finish is dry and its moderate fine tannins settle in nicely. This is a really good premium Barbera. I would pair it with seasoned Colorado lamb chops or beef Burgundy. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Our hard work on the vineyards gave us a Barbera of an extraordinary complexity, with very fresh fruit aromas. The taste is full, very rich and balanced, with extraordinary length: it will be a Quorum with a great longevity up to 2015-17.
