Wine Review: This deep purple colored Touriga Nacional opens with a blackberry and black currant bouquet with notes of black olive, violet, oak, and black pepper. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is very well-balanced, rich, very smooth and polished. The flavor profile is a gentle blackberry and black olive blend with notes of chalky minerality and black tea. We also detected hints of oak and black cherry right towards the end. The finish is dry, and its well-managed medium tannins are nicely prolonged. This Touriga Nacional would pair well with a Kona encrusted New York strip steak or with a bone in filet. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Very concentrated aromas, with balsamic notes of oak, ripe red fruits, and violets. The palate is extremely balanced, with a lot of red fruit concentration, containing ripe and round tannins and a long and fresh finish.
