Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored blend from the Douro region opens with blueberry and oak bouquet with hints of old leather. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused black olive and oak blend with notes of black tea, blueberry and plum. The finish is dry and its flavors and moderate tannins have some good length. This very good value wine from Portugal would pair well with braised short ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lively color. Floral scents combined with red fruit aromas. Fills the mouth with intense fruit notes, showing a long, very fresh and complex after taste.
