Wine Review: This ruby colored blend from Portugal is a good value wine. It opens with a cranberry bouquet with notes of cherry and pomegranate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and savory. The flavor profile is a mineral and craisin blend with notes of olive and oak. I also detected hints of bay leaf, pomegranate, and strawberry rhubarb. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins fade away nicely. This is a nice pub wine and would pair nicely with a juicy bacon burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of red fruit and spicy compote. Soft, full-bodied mouth-feel with a persistent finish.
