Wine Review: This bright straw-colored wine from Portugal opens with a wet stone and pear bouquet with a hint of pineapple and asparagus. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied, balanced, textured and nicely coats your mouth for a white wine. The flavor profile is an apricot and grapefruit blend with notes of peach. I also detected hints of lemon, pineapple and a touch of gravely minerality in the mix. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This white wine is food friendly and quite quaffable. I would pair it with flaky fish and chips. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: Pale lemon in color, with lively aromas of orange blossom and citrus fruit. Fresh and elegant on the palate, it shows excellent volume and texture, and pleasant, well-integrated notes of minerality. A seductive wine that finishes fresh, balanced and persistent.
