Wine Review: This midnight black colored blend opens with a black olive and vanilla oak bouquet with hints of tobacco and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is espresso and black plum blend with hints of blackberry, mild minerality and oak. I also detected hints of black olive, prune and a touch of mint. The finish is dry and its fine tannins and flavors drift away nicely. This wine would pair well with a juicy Angus burger. Enjoy – Ken & Mike M
Winemaker Notes: Deep purple in color. On the nose the wine shows fresh wild berry fruit that are well integrated with light notes of spice. Balanced on the palate, evolving into a wine of great volume, with a compact structure made of thick-textured tannins. The finish is elegant, fresh and lingering.
