Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored red blend from Portugal is very good. It opens with a black currant and blackberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and old oak blend with nicely integrated minerality. I also detected hints of black olive and black cherry. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins linger and last for quite a while. This wine would pair nicely with a well marbled NY strip steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark cherry flavors on the nose with La Rosa's hallmark of herbaceous, spicy undertones on the palate. The wine has a pleasing freshness and bright acidity.
