Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based wine opens with an attractive boysenberry bouquet with hints of Christmas spice. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a cherry and blueberry blend with notes minerality. There are also hints of cedar and dark chocolate mixed in. The finish is dry and its mild tannins and flavors drift away nicely. I would pair this very good wine with a cowboy cut prime rib. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Quest is a new wine that aims to express the increasingly recognized potential and excitement of Paso Robles. It is dark ruby/purple with a claret meniscus. Aroma of vanilla, caramel, cassis, and red fruit. Rich clean berry flavors with firm tannins finishes with a long toasty, French vanilla.
