Wine Review: This straw-colored Chardonnay from Argentina is very good. It opens with a lemon-lime bouquet with hints of pear. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, bright and fresh for a Chard. The flavor profile is a lemon verbena and white tea blend with notes of lime zest and pear. I also detected hints of stone dust, butterscotch, and clover honey. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. I would pair the Chard with chicken francese. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense and complex on the nose, with predominant aromas of peach, pear, and green apple, followed by floral notes such as jasmine and white flowers. Hints of minerals contribute to its complexity.
