Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec from Argentina opens with an inviting blueberry and blackberry bouquet with hints of vanilla and cherry-cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is blackberry and stony minerality blend with notes of raspberry tea and red plum. I also detected hints of black pepper and tobacco. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and its dusty tannins stick around for a while. I would decant this wine for a bit before pairing it with a top sirloin cap, also known as Brazilian picanha steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Intense, with aromas of black cherry, spice, and violet. The wine has amazing grip but with silky, mineral-driven tannins taken from the uniqueness of the terroir, and flavors of blackberry and fresh cherries.
