Wine Review: This straw colored dry Riesling from the Rheingau has a little age on it and its showing very nicely right now. It opens with a honey and orange like bouquet with a hint of pilsner beer. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and Granny Smith apple blend with notes of white pepper and hint of lime and orange. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Riesling is food friendly and would pair well with quiche Lorraine. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A Riesling with a pale-yellow colour and light green highlights, which displays an aroma from fresh and juicy fruits. The flavours remind of orange blossom and grapefruit. This Riesling convinces with its well balanced acidity and its fine- linked mineral character.
