Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Gavi opens with a wet stone, green apple, and green pear like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, crisp, and shows off its nice acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty mineral infused green apple with notes of Anjou pear and a touch of lime and white pepper. The finish is dry and subtle. I enjoy Gavi and this one is very good. This wine is food friendly and would pair well with a sharp cheddar cheese plate. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Color: Pale-straw. Bouquet: Intense, fresh, with aromas of pineapple and green apple. Taste: Crisp with green-apple and citrus flavors complemented by mineral notes. An aperitif wine, excellent with hors d'oeuvres and seafood.
