Wine Review: This rich white gold colored Chardonnay from Spain opens with a heavily oaked and sweet honeyed bouquet. We also picked up hints of poached pear and tropical fruit as well. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and displays intense flavors of ripe fruit that is nicely balanced with some crisp acidity. The finish does linger nicely. We enjoyed this good value Chardonnay and would pair it with ginger, sesame, and soy glazed salmon. Enjoy – Karen and Stuart
Winemaker Notes: Sustainably-farmed Chardonnay, night-harvested and rigorously selected. Fermented and aged for three months in a mixture of American and French oak. Expressive, bright varietal, with fleshy fruit and some subtle and elegant notes of smoke from the oak aging.
