Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Grenache Blanc from Priest Ranch opens with an aromatic lemon zest and Anjou pear bouquet with a hint of bee’s wax. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and balanced with nicely integrated acidity. The flavor profile is a tasty crushed stone minerality and lime blend with notes of saline and Anjou pear. I also detected hints of yellow grapefruit and a dash of white pepper in the aftertaste. The finish is dry and refreshing. This Grenache Blanc from Napa Valley would pair perfectly with a grilled swordfish steak. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Grenache Blanc is a beautiful crisp white wine with a pleasant acidity on the palate. Hints of bright fruit are accentuated on the nose, while flavors of green apples and citrus accent the finish. Our favorite way to enjoy a glass is with some triple cream cheese, alongside a spicy dish, or even on its own.
