Wine Review: This opaque and midnight purple colored blend from Priest Ranch opens with a mild black plum bouquet with hints of soft black cherry and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, super smooth and elegant. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and black plum blend with notes of baking spices. We also detected some hints of coffee and mocha mixed in. The finish is dry and its mild polished tannins drift away nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this with a filet mignon or a bacon wrapped tenderloin. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep berry and toasty flavors jump off the palate when you drink this wine. The vibrant color from Cabernet Sauvignon is also standard in Malbec as well as the intensely rich herbal flavors that show through in this full-bodied wine. A great addition to any hearty meal, this is a wine you will want to acquire before it is gone. This wine is exclusive to our tasting room in Yountville or online, so explore your adventurous side and add a bottle to your next order.
