Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a mild black cherry and faint oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slight acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a black currant and smoky oak blend with notes of gentle black licorice. I also detected hints of black olive and sage. The finish is dry and its mild tannins drift away nicely. This Cab is easy to drink. I would pair it with it with a filet in the near term. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied wine with balanced acidity and tannins. The nose is full of chocolate, black cherries, cassis and a touch of earth. The rounded mouthfeel is persistent in the long and lingering rich finish.
