Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon based blend from Priest Ranch opens with a black currant and violet bouquet with hint of cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, well-balanced and rich. The flavor profile is a tasty oak influenced blackberry and menthol blend with nicely integrated notes of black cherry and blueberry. We also detected hints of black licorice and minerality mixed in. The finish is dry and its tannins build-up and stick around for quite a while. This terrific wine is built for a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy – Ken
