Wine Review: This blood orange colored Brut Rose from Priest Ranch has only a few tiny bubbles. It opens with a shy, toasted brioche and mild strawberry bouquet along with a hint of honeysuckle. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and has a creamy and elegant mouthfeel. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused strawberry and tangerine blend with notes of red cherry and lime. We also detected hints of almond, white pepper and saline mixed in. The finish is dry and subtle. This wine is not overly sparkly; however, it is tasty and would pair perfectly with Rick’s chilled shrimp cocktail or spanakopita. Enjoy – Ken & Mark
Winemaker Notes: This wine has a beautiful pink salmon tone and is filled with flavors of strawberries, cherry, and a hint of peach. Full of red berry flavors with a creamy smooth finish on the end, you can pair this sparkling wine with anything from caviar to fried chicken sliders.
