Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and dark ruby Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah opens with an oak influenced blackberry with hints of pencil lead and sawdust. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused ripe blackberry with notes of stewed plum. We also detected hints of black pepper, smoky oak and rhubarb. The finish is dry and its minerality and dusty tannins are rather sticky and nicely prolonged. The Panel suggested decanting this wine in the near term and serving it with a ribeye steak. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: PreVail West Face is a delicious, full-bodied wine with lush aromas and flavors of blueberry, maple, caramel, bacon, boysenberry and leather with a touch of black pepper on the finish. Fleshy and full, this wine has exquisite depth and lingering, firm tannins providing textural proof of this wine’s ageability.
