Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon under the PreVail label is very good. It opens with a very fruity ripe red raspberry bouquet with hints of cherry and oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and very fruit forward. Those fruits are an extracted red plum and pomegranate with notes of red raspberry and oak. I also detected hints of mild minerality throughout. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins stick around and linger with the fruit for quite a while. This fruit bomb is fun now and I expect it to age nicely as it settled down so nicely on day 2. I would decant it in the near term and pair it with duck breast or leave it in the cellar for a couple of years and try it again then. Enjoy - Ken
