Wine Review: This pale straw colored Grüner Veltliner from Pratsch opens with a faint crushed stone bouquet with a faint whiff of white pepper, pear and lime. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. Yet it is round and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a green apple and minerality blend with notes of ginger and light grapefruit. I detected some hints of lime and white pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for a while. This Grüner evolved and opened up a lot with some aeration. I would pair it with swordfish skewers or fried scallops. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This certified organic wine exudes aromas of spicy white pepper, with apples, peaches, apricots, and a touch of grass. This wine is bright and crisp with lemon, lime, stone fruit, and spicy white pepper.
