Wine Review: This very pale white gold colored Gruner Veltliner was popular with our mini-tasting group. It opens with an attractive lime and lily like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, bright and refreshing. The flavor profile is a mineral infused light lime with notes tart green apple. I also detected hints of white pepper and touch of ginger. The finish is dry and it lingers nicely. This Gruner would pair well with seared sea scallops with an orange ginger sauce. - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Light yellow color. White pepper, peaches, freshly cut grass and gooseberry aromas. Bright and crisp with lemon/lime, stone fruit, spicy white pepper with well-integrated acidity and distinct mineratity.
