Wine Review: This almost clear colored Gruner Vetliner from Austria does display just a tinge of yellow. It opens with a fresh green apple and lime bouquet. On the palate, this wine is quite lively, crisp, and acidic. The flavor profile is a tangy lemon with notes of grapefruit. I also detected hints of minerality and white pepper. The finish is dry and rather refreshing. This wine might be a bit crisp and acidic for some. But for readers who like this style, they will really enjoy it served cool on a hot summer day. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Light yellow with greenish hues. Forward fruit with a touch of apple, peach and apricot, slight spice. Fresh and tangy, fine spices, white pepper and round body.
