Wine Review: This ruby colored Carignane from Post & Vine opens with a mild red raspberry and red currant bouquet with notes of rose petal and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced with a smooth and inviting texture. The flavor profile is gentle craisin and black licorice blend with notes of dried strawberry and green tea. We also detected hints of cedar and clay. The finish is dry and its well-managed medium tannin tannins drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this flavorful Carignane with the Bull Run's pulled pork tacos. Enjoy – KWGTP
