Wine Review: This medium pink colored wine made with Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley presents with aromas of candied cherry, strawberry and sweet hay with hints of anise seed and rosewater. The cherry and strawberry immediately come through on the palate and define the flavor profile. However, there are also enticing background flavors like blood orange and bergamot. The wine is medium-bodied with lively acidity and sturdy minerality. The finish is generous and mellowing with some of the anise notes found on the nose. It would pair nicely with conch fritters, orange-glazed salmon, or a sunset. – Jeoff
Winemaker Notes: Vibrant aromatics of rose petal, watermelon, candied satsuma and kaffir lime interlace with powdered sugar and pink grapefruit make this nose instantly compelling. The mouth brings further notes of lime zest, tangerine and cranberry framed by bright juicy acidity and a surprising silky texture throughout.
