Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Ponzi is very nice. It opens with a very appealing blueberry and black cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and round. The flavor profile is a mild mineral infused black plum with notes of black cherry and a touch of vanilla and cola. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Pinot displays quaffing characteristics. It will go down easy with your favorite gourmet burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of ripe raspberry and black cherry are accentuated by crushed Mediterranean herbs of lavender, sage, rosemary and black tea. On the palate, dusty tannins are woven into hints of roasted coffee. Mouthwatering acidity is balanced by almond sweetness.
