Wine Review: This translucent and dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a mild black cherry bouquet with a hint of oak and strawberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, juicy, rich and savory. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and oak blend with hints of sage, strawberry licorice, plum and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors and tingly acidity lingers well after the wine is gone. This sturdy Pinot Noir would pair well with grilled rosemary lamb chops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Initial aromas of maple candy, baked cherry and smoked meats precede savory notes, bay laurel and black licorice. The mouth is focused and elegant with touches of huckleberry crumble, cola and spice. The finish is persistent and bright.
