Wine Review: This ruby colored Pinot Noir from Ponzi opens with an appealing blueberry bouquet with a hint of cola. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic, soft, yet mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild plum with hints of gentle blueberry and a touch of clementine. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Pinot is a very delicate and finesse wine. It would pair well with lighter foods. Sushi came to mind first. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Floral notes of lavender, lilac and rose petal frame the spice box of white pepper and star anise. This voluptuous mouth shows sweet spiced cherries over silky present tannins. - Winemaker Luisa Ponzi
