Wine Review: This cloudy red colored Pinot Noir from Ponzi opens with mild strawberry bouquet with a hint of fresh roses. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a blend of plum and mild raspberry blend with nicely integrated oak. I also detected a hint of black pepper and cola as well. The finish is dry and it lingers slightly. This Pinot would pair well with grilled mahi mahi. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of cinnamon bark, cardamom, cranberry and tobacco notes lead to a mouth of bright cherry, silky mid-palate and good length. Notes of licorice and plum linger. - Winemaker Luisa Ponzi
