Wine Review: This light yellow colored wine might be one of the best Oregon Chards that I have covered in a while. It opens with an attractive apple and mild banana bouquet. I also detected some apricot and Bartlett pear. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, and creamy, yet shows a little crispy acidity. The flavor profile is a very tasty Bartlett pear with a hint of spice and nicely integrated oak. The finish is dry and delightful. This Chard is food friendly and it would pair well with Chicken Cordon Bleu. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This golden-hued wine explodes with notes of candied orange zest, honeycomb, cloved tangerine and rose petal. The mouth is rich and silky textured with a hint of honeyed almonds. The finish is bright and lingers with sweet Meyer lemon notes. - Winemaker Luisa Ponzi
