Wine Review: This light straw-colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand opens with a peach, pineapple, cantaloupe, and guava bouquet with light coconut and herb notes. The medium body is smooth, juicy, and zesty with mouthwatering acidity and nice minerality. The flavor profile is lemon, lime, grapefruit, green apple, and saline. The dry and extended finish has a touch of black pepper and fades away nicely. I would recommend pairing this Sauvignon Blanc with prosciutto wrapped cantaloupe. – Joe
Winemaker Notes: Vibrant aromas of ripe citrus and tropical fruit lead to a refreshing palate full of white peach and grapefruit – classic flavors of the region. The bright aromas are accented with chalky, mineral tones then a deliciously satisfying finish. When you’re ready to head out, grab a bottle to take you where you dare. Enjoy with seafood, especially Pacific oysters on the half-shell.
