Wine Review: This almost clear colored Vermentino opens with appealing green apple and light lychee bouquet with a hint of lime. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, slightly acidic, nicely coats the mouth and is mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a tasty mild mineral infused Anjou pear with notes of quince and a hint of clover honey. The finish is dry and fades away nicely. This Vermentino is very food friendly and would pair well with Emeril's crab cakes. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Bright straw yellow in colour, with a substantial consistency. Solosole is characterized by a vibrant freshness, which is delicate and balanced. The palate is intense, persistent and refined. The aromas are both floral (white flowers and acacia) and fruity (yellow and tropical, including apricot and banana), typical of this variety.
