Wine Review: This dark ruby colored blend from Bolgheri opens with a funky leather and black cherry bouquet with a hint of forest floor. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy going. The flavor profile is a tasty black plum with notes of gentle minerality, cola and a hint of cedar. The finish displays sticky tannins that build up and last for a really long time. I would pair this very good wine with ribeye steak. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Intense ruby red in color, the nose opens with nuances of cherry and plum and deep notes of black berries, followed by aromatic herbs and a pleasant spiciness. It is elegant and seductive on the palate, revealing considerable body, great structure and balance, and silky tannins. Pair with grilled and barbequed meats like spare ribs, ossobuco, and lamb or pork shanks.
