Wine Review: This ruby colored Merlot based wine from Saint Emilion opens with a red plum and cedar bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, clean and bright. The flavor profile is a crushed stone minerality and red plum blend with notes of black currant. I also detected hints of cedar, cranberry, and vanilla. The finish is dry and its fine tannins drift away nicely. I would pair this drink now wine with a filet mignon. Enjoy – Ken
